MIHRA Write On! is a writing program for all stakeholders & career levels that supports community success in developing strong (but not punishing!) writing habits in rare and autoimmune diseases.
MIHRA Write On! runs several days weekly & employs evidence-based practices to fortify skills & work/writing habits. Variable scheduling encourages inclusion across time zones.

What is MIHRA Write On!:
MIHRA Write On! is planned programming to support and strengthen the writing practice and habits of rare disease researchers. Rare disease visibility and progress depends on publications and funding awards. MIHRA Write On! is a program that considers the challenges of the writing process beset by writers at all career stages, MIHRA Write On! programming is comprised of:
- Writing sanctuaries / retreats which is an evidence-based strategy that holds space for people to strengthen their writing habit and get their writing/work done.
- Workshops that incorporate the latest science (predominantly compassion-based strategies) in writing practice & productivity,
- Writing labs where folks can come to a safe space to field excerpts of their manuscripts or grant writing,
- Didactics in aspects of grant /manuscripts writing.

MIHRA Write On! Writing Retreats & Sanctuaries
are an evidence-based strategy of community co-writing (or writing independently together). Sanctuaries hold space for people to practice accountability, strengthen writing habits and have a planned time to get their writing/work done.
