MIHRA Write On!

MIHRA Write On! is a writing program for all stakeholders & career levels that supports community success in developing strong (but not punishing!) writing habits in rare and autoimmune diseases.

MIHRA Write On! runs several days weekly & employs evidence-based practices to fortify skills & work/writing habits. Variable scheduling encourages inclusion across time zones.

There will be at least two 90-minute Writing Sanctuary sessions daily from 20 Dec 2024 until 3 Jan 2025 at:

An ‘early’ session at 7am EST / 9am Buenos Aires / 12pm UK / 1pm CET / 3pm Ankara / 5:30pm Mumbai / 8pm Hong Kong / 11pm Melbourne AUST at this zoom link

are an evidence-based strategy of community co-writing (or writing independently together). Sanctuaries hold space for people to practice accountability, strengthen writing habits and have a planned time to get their writing/work done. During retreats, writing science strategies might be displayed to support a growing enteroceptive, productive practice. A typical whiteboard from a MIHRA Write On! retreat:

Write On! skills workshops or didactic sessions are planned for recording where permitted. Writing retreats/ sanctuaries are not recorded.

Creating time for deep writing can sometimes benefit from soothing unobtrusive music. While for some the experience of sifting through spreadsheets improves with a bit of rock’n roll 🙂 .
