The FDA ensures, as much as possible, only safe and effective drugs are marketed.
The CDC is critical to protecting all Americans from preventable illness and death.
The Veterans Administration (VA) has been pivotal in life-saving research.
These agencies safeguard the health and chance for life for every American.
We need to help our government officials understand the devastating implications for ourselves and family members.
Please contact your senators and representatives.
Find out who your officials are at house.gov and congress.gov.
Send them a message or give them a call.
Share your personal plight of living with or loving someone vulnerable with a rare disease or cancer.
Let them know we’ve come a long way, but there’s a long way to go.
Let them know that our children, sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers are depending on them to stand up to protect the future of America.
Without rare disease research we will all suffer.
Collectively rare diseases effect 10% of Americans.
Let them know research discoveries in rare diseases directly accelerate research in common diseases.
